What are this instructor's teaching strengths?
“Prof. Jeffries is very kind and respectful of her students. She taught the class in a way that felt constructive rather than constraining. Due to her openness to class discussion and her calm demeanor, many students opened up about very personal topics, which was valuable to all. I believe that Prof. Jeffries is younger than most professors, and this helped her understand our experiences as students/young adults in the modern day. She seems to be very understanding and empathetic to the needs of the students. She recognizes that we are all imperfect and just trying to survive life.” - Undergraduate Student (Summer 2023)

What are this instructor's teaching strengths?
“Chasia is great at accommodating students and their emotional needs while maintaining standards for the class content. In a class that discusses heavy topics with which individuals may relate deeply, it is incredibly important and advantageous in facilitating deeper-level discussions. I found her enforcement of a safe classroom to be a great way to ensure productive debates.” - Undergraduate Student (Summer 2023)

What are this instructor's teaching strengths?
“The instructor did a fantastic job at laying down all of the information in a way that was very engaging. Going over the information together and providing the class with new resources of information to delve even deeper into the subject matter allowed the class to see things from a number of perspectives and have more ways of understanding the contexts. When it comes to the assignments, the instructor also did a fantastic job of laying out everything that they were looking for ... Finally, I would say that the other big strength that the instructor holds is being very approachable, which makes it possible for the students to feel comfortable offering up their own ideas and asking questions of the material.” - Undergraduate Student (Summer 2023)
